I have a question along these lines... I bought a male pastel about 6 months ago, and I'm hoping to breed him this year. (He's plenty old enough, two maybe three years old.) But.. I havn't ever seen sperm plugs.... Did I get a girl by mistake? I have some sex probes on the way to my house. I'm just wondering what the forum's opinion is...
Thanks in advance

i would think that someone seeling pastels would have the knowledge to know male from female, the person that sexed mine first was some twit at petco, untill i went to someone who knew what they were talking about. i cant wait till she gets bigger and i can have some fun!

o and i would be careful with the sexing probes if you dont know how to do it.....maybe have someone experienced show you how to use them. i honestly thought about ordering some, but having no idea what to do with them and not wanting to hurt my snake i just went to someone that did.

is that the one that you have as listed as normal yet different? thats the same way i feel about mine. when i first pulled it out of its bag they thought it was a pastel because of how light she is. thats a great surprise though, did any of the eggs make it?
