When using this paper do you just use 1 layer or fold it into multi layers?

I use one layer cut oversize so it rides upo the side of the cage. I also lay down a couple of layers of newspaper first for added absorbancy. One last trick is for the larger cages, I use two seperate pieces so sometimes I only have to do a half cage clean when the mess is limited to one side or the other.

I cut my boaphile cage pieces to 24" x 27", that's 2" extra on each side and 2" of overlap in the middle.

not the dreaded uline!
lol!
I work for a packing distributor and they are driving little companies like this one under. They are they wallmart of packing... But I do concede, except for paying shipping, they have very decent pricing.

I've heard that you can also get unprinted newsprint at newspaper printing locations, sometimes they give butt-end rolls of the stuff away (excess). I just haven't gone that route because people at work give me their newspapers.

I personally prefer newspaper over corrugated because I think it is not as rough.
