40L x 20W x 17H Cages??

JohnnyK68 Jan 11, 2008 08:20 PM

Can this cage size work for HOG Island boas? I know the standard 48x24 is the best but with the room I have to work with right now
until my garage is built Im going to have trouble with a 48x24. Can a Hog be bred in this size cage?

What size Freedom Breeders are you talking about?

The standard Boa size are 48"x30"x9.5" So yes shorter, but much more floor space.

It would work for most, I would put a shelf in it though to offer more usable floor space.

That might be big enough. Some Hog girls can get to a decent size.

While even a 48" long cage doesn't give a full grown Hog enough room to stretch out full length, I'd still try for a little more room. Vision has a new rack that has tubs 40"x30" if you can get that to work that might be better.
