strangest thing ever with Panther

mrgrumps Jan 12, 2008 09:57 AM

I have a 6 month old Panther, my 2nd panther, 3rd cham overall. Anyway, I am not a novice but just now I saw something that shocked me.

I heard a funny whining sound from my cham cage. I went over checked out my little buddy. he had this bloody/red "thing" is all I can describe it hanging out of the hole under his tale he does his business in. It looked like a blood clot or something, then, all of a sudden he sucked it back in and that was that. I am freaked out because I never saw any of my chams do anything like that. If anyone can let me know whats going on I would appreciate it.
