What size rubbermaid tote should I get to start off breeding 1000 Lobster Roaches, with out them being over crowded?

I personally started mine in a ten gallon tank and beat them back now and then. I have no idea how many I have in there. Key with roaches is layers.....loads of egg cartons. If it were me I would use a 90 qt tote if it fit in the spot I wanted it to. I am wondering if you are getting 1000 to start or just hoping to maintain that many.

52 qt ( I think you mean qt not gal....that would be a big trash can) would likely work fine too. I generally get 90 at Walmart.

the turkistan roach is a better one to get. Breeds as easy, a little more nutritious, doesn't climb and doesn't hide as bas as lobsters
