DI Rock Wall

emvee Jan 13, 2008 01:05 PM

This is my first attempt at a rock wall. I made it for my desert iguanas. Sorry about the low quality pic. It was from my cell phone. I will upload another one when my camera battery is charged and I see an opportune moment for a photo.

I would go into more detail about how I made it but there are plenty of tutorials out there. However, let me just say screw Great Stuff! I HATE it. It is smelly, messy, unpredictable, full of air pockets, would probably collapse under the weight of any decently sized lizard, is horrible to try and carve, and you are not able to put grout on it very well. So stay clear of it and just go with the normal 2" insulation foam that you can by in 4' or 8' sheets.

Thanks for looking,
Matt

Probably one of the best I have seen! Very realistic looking.
