New To KingSnake.com

Hi Everyone, I Am New To Kingsnake.com and just joined today because i see this is the most active forum and most helpful site i've seen concerning snakes.

I am going to be purchasing a normal female bp(3,000g) and a normal male bp (approx. 1,500g).

Once I get the hang of breeding I will purchase a bell pastel.

welcome.
have fun breeding- just try to make sure you find them decent homes-
i've had an increase in calls lately to take things in... odd since its not the "busy season" yet...

Nice to meet you. But you should just try to find a breeder pastel now. You can probably get one for $300.

Yea, i will eventually move up to different morphs but i just wanna get the hang of things before i start investing serious money. i dont have a full time job since im still in high school so it takes me a while to save up for morphs.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm still in high school myself, a sophomore, and I have to pay for everything. My parents won't pay a dime for them. I feel I have a nice collection for only being 16 years old and having to pay for it all myself. Sad thing is that I'm going to have to get rid of them all when I hopefully go the Air Force Academy. If you can, pick up a pastel male. You can get a young one for 125 bucks easy. You could probably get them even cheaper at a show. They're worth next to nothing these days. I hope you didn't get into this to make some serious money because that's the one thing I can guarantee won't happen. If you got into it because you love the animals, then good for you and good luck.
