is there any thing i can do to help it or just strait to a vet i kinda live out in the middle of nowhere not much out here much less a vet with reptile knowledge.

Any time you see bubbling or hear popping you need to get the snake on an antibiotic.
They can seem very healthy other than a little yawning or popping, but actually be VERY sick.
I don't want to make you panic, but I've lost a few snakes to what looked like minor stomatitis. Fortaz cleared it right up in other sick animals.

make sure to up the temps a bit more than normal - till its well over it. antibiotics and vet trip may be needed if you dont see an improvement very soon.

tthx vey much i will up the temps see what happens and can it be spread she was in with a male when i got her i have separated them since tho.

paulbuckley Jan 14, 2008 05:30 PM

YES - very easily spread. this animal should be in another room and use seperate tongs, etc - or disinfect them, and your hands. think of it as a deadly flu for snakes and dont trip up on the cleanliness and seperation issues or you may lose animals.

You also need to clean and disinfect the enclosure every day, including his hide and water bowl. He needs fresh water a couple times a day if possible. Plus up the heat like the poster above mentioned.
