Thin spots on the eggs

raspsdad Jan 14, 2008 08:01 PM

My female is about 6 years old and about 4 1/2 feet long. She bred for the first time and her clutch of 8 look like they have transparent holes in them. There are areas that are much thinner then the rest of the egg. The eggs are viable but I am scared they wont make it. Any feed back will help

Don't freak. It happens. Usually I see it just after the clutch has been laid and the 'thin spots' look like little dimples in the egg surface. Incubate correctly and all will be well....

Cheers,
Kat
