Some '07 Jungle Jags

jgjulander Jan 15, 2008 12:04 AM

Just wanted to post some pictures of some of our '07 JJ's. Thanks for checking them out.
This first one is taking off to Japan soon, so I wanted to get some parting shots. Here she is, and looking so good, we are a little sad to see her go.

This is one of our hold back jungle jag males that was real silvery after hatching. I am very excited to see how this guys turns out. So clean!

And of course the nice tan reduced jungle jag female that just glows. She is turning out very nicely. It is hard to get good pictures of her, so I thought I would take a few pictures holding her to see if the true colors would come out better.

Threw in one of my ugly mug as well holding this girl.

Hey Tim,
It's like getting a new snake when they shed out. Our jags are good feeders, LOL, but you can see that I am holding one of them. She is one of the grumpier girls, but she didn't bite at me at all when I was posing her for photos. They calm down with a little size, so that may be part of it. Most carpets are very snappy when babies, but all of mine have calmed down nicely. They may have a good feeding response, but will generally not bite once held. I can't remember if Ben was going to put flower in with Skunk this year. Maybe he can chime in,
Thanks for your comments,
Justin
