just rounding out some of last weeks shots... must say the natural variance with these guys really amazes me... I'm not sure if I've ever seen one I did not like...

I see the beginnings of a nice collection there. I look forward to doing the agalma thing again this year Chris, but without the "middle man", LOL. Now to start pumping out some babies. I've found that, in my opinion, the greatest challenge (other than the dietary lizard requirement more often-than-not) is the fact that agalma have a shorter feeding window as they shut off typically in late summer/early fall and go a couple months without food until brumation. Looking forward to seeing that small female a year from now -- she's a real gem.

Yeah - a collection of them it'll be! I'm certain you'll be kept up to date Jerry! Funny about the feeding window though... maybe it's a FL thing but all but one of my adults had to 'convinced' to stop eating to cool them off. We did just begin to get "cold" though! I suppose we'll see what a lengthened feeding cycle and a shorter brumation render in the months to come... I've found (in the past) that this seems to affect them little down here but obviously could be dramatically different with these guys! Thanks again!

of the male that is paired up with that female. I miss that one, as he was one of the sweeter clutch mates. Your tricolor collection continues to grow nicely -- onward and upward! There are always exceptions to the rule as far as feeders go, but generally speaking many captive-bred animals tend to go off feed as it seems to be innate (aka: the "biological clock" in them to do so -- again, generally speaking. We'll be in touch!
