If you keep common ribbonsnakes (Thamnophis sauritus sauritus) in MD, you need to see the proposed changes to MD regulation over in the Herp Law forum. Likely the common ribbonsnake will be moving to List B - only one without a permit, only one can have been taken from the wild in MD. The eastern hognosed snake and queen snake are also moving to List B, along with broad-headed skinks and eastern six-lined racerunners, and several turtles.
