got a new baby albig from a pet store that ordered her from a breeder in new jersey. im not sure if its male or female yet but im gonna say her(wishful thinking). shes very young maybe 8 inches long and eating like a pro 2 days ago she ate about 30 or so crickets and last night ate her first mouse which after she ate the mouse didnt want anything else so i guess it filled her up. which for the time being i only plan on giving her one mouse every 2 weeks or so. but mostly crix and superworms. she basks alot but also roams the cage quite a bit so i think i have the temps right but i dont have anything to measure surface temps yet. have 2 hides (one a big rock with holes in it that she can squeeze in and the o ther my own little model of the rettes stack) a water bowl and right now i just have ecoearth in the cage from when i used to hold my ball python in but will be going to try and find some better dirt for her pretty soon. any suggestions? i was thinking about trying that decomposed granite that they talk about on pro-exotics. anybody have any clue where i might be able to find some?
