... do you bother to clip your dragons nails from time to time. Mine scurried out of my hand and up my arm to perch on my shoulder and left me rather scratched up from it.

Yep. I just clip the little sharp tip off. Then usually I don't have to do it again for about a year. I have tile basking spots so that might wear them down a little so I don't have to keep clipping often.

I have no problem with older ones. Some of my big babies are a little hard to get to stay still. A possible option is to do it when they have settled down for the night.
