I did not notice it, but if you are using the polystyrene in your tanks, you should remove it. They will scratch into that stuff, then eat bits and pieces of it off the sand...not good for them.

Thanks for the heads up, I am aware of that it was very temporary.I was using the styrofoam to get a height measurement for making some wood blocks to rest the UVB on. He found it was easy to burrow under while I was cutting blocks and that is when I grabbed the camera. Thanks for having such a keen eye though Jumbo/Jesper.

ps...keep an eye on that tail...you will start to see some blue there first! At least that's where I normally see it.

He is already turning blue on his legs and tail, quite blue actually. It seems more brilliant during the day time. Especially when he is basking under the reptisun tube. Odd as it may be I could sware his head had an orange hue to it this afternoon as well. Not real bright but orange never the less. He just shed again and is showing different colors all the time. Cool lizard!

He could be changing already...I can't believe how big they are already. Keep me updated on those colors.
