I'm just curious...

The only prekilled crix I've seen in the store are in little jars, freeze dried and gross looking crix in liquid. It seems most dragons would blow through a jar a day, if not more. Admittedly, I haven't really checked them out since a can of dead crickets doesn't appeal to me whatsover..lol
How many are in a jar and how much is a jar?

Mine just love the ZooMed kind that are cooked in the can. They go nuts for them. I dust them like I would live, but don't dust too much cause it sticks on them. The can says 1.2 oz but I would say there are about 45 inside of the yellow can. The yellow can is large crix the red can is mini's. In the red can I would say there are about 60-75 small crix. The freeze dried ones mine do not like. They were kinda dry. The ones in the can yes are yucky to us but are loved by them or mine at least. At first too get them to eat them I just put them in front of there face and wiggled them a bit and they would munch them. Now I just toss them in and they eat them all up.

I get them as treats cause they like them so much. At www.reptiledirect.com they cost 2.88 a can. My adults don't eat crix anymore as a staple live food so sometimes I purchase these to feed once a week to add to their diets. They love them and they contain quite a bit of moisture which is a plus.
