box of veggies for 1$

OKReptileRescue Jan 16, 2008 10:45 AM

i went up to the grocery store the other day and saw boxes and boxes of leafy greens and veggies and things for 1 $ each....
they are huge boxes- like pinapple boxes...

everything is still good (i'd eat it...)-- so i spent 4$ and got 4 boxes...
its been 2 days and we've barely used 1 box...

i spend about 10$ every 3 days to feed the current residents...
2 HUGE iguanas, 1 30lb sulcata, 5 beardies.....

anyway- i was all excited to find wonderful iguana diets for 1$ a box- saved us a lot of $ and the store said they ALWAYS have boxes of veggies like that...

so now i get my rats for 1$ and my veggies for 1$

WOOT!

Easy! Frozen food section at any grocery store! My favrotite section ever! Cant beat the non frozen stuff though, I think vitamin b gets ruined when veggies get frozen? ehh I forget.
