Retic Spraying

Fitch2k06 Jan 16, 2008 12:01 PM

I just recently purchased an 07CB tiger retic. the snake was very tame until i fed him and after that he likes to strike and he sprays that nasty odor all over. i'm not worried about the bites cause once i get him out he doesn't strike anymore, but he still always sprays. is there any way i can get him to stop this?

Frequent handling.

Seriously, that's all it takes.

Actually, you're in the wrong forum, but that's OK, no need to apologize. On the Forums homepage scroll down to the next to the last group of forums - titled "Snake Forums." Look down near the bottom of the forums list for "Pythons: Reticulated." There is also a general Python forum.

Have a good one!
