good way to check for biters

DMong Jan 16, 2008 08:23 PM

this is a good way to check if a snake is "nippy" or not. If you hold the snake just in front of your face, and this results,.....you can be fairly certain the snake is a bit "nippy"!

Ha! Ha! Yeah, I'd say that would be a pretty good hint.

I guarantee you that fella has had many a flashbacks, seeing nothing but a wide-open mouth with many big teeth up close & personal. That is a sight that sticks in your mind. Woohoo!

I sure hope that fella took the hint. Hahaha!

Catch ya later!

Odd question, but what type of snake is that? It has a very beautiful color/pattern to it. Thanks. =)

I don't know. It's been waaaayy too many moons ago since I was up on all the various types but it looks to me like it might be in the Morelia line. If I get time I'll try to figure it out. It is a nice looking snake, though.

You can do a search of "python family" and follow the taxonomy. It may not be a python, though, but it looks like one to me.

If you do find out please post back & let me know. I'll do the same.

Later!
