I think my carpet is sick it sounds like he is weessing,and has been in his water for 5 days now. I think i will take him to the vet tonight. Any ideas? would he eat if he is sick because he ate a hopper last night. thanks guys

It could be shedding and has some dry skin over his nostrils causing a wheezing sound when it breaths, that would explain the soaking as well.

Some of mine make the wheezing sound every time i pick them up,....thats no problem at all. About laying in the water could be the shedding proces !! None of our morelia will soak in the water when the are in shed,....check the snake for any mites !!!! Dont go to the vet, they will only do harm to your snake, in my opinion !!!
