Ok, well last night I learned that I don’t know what a collard green is, what arugula looks like, nor what a lot of other items on my list looks like. But I found a lovely young lady who was willing to assist me. They did not have the majority of the Iguana Den Diet, but they did have the following: Arugula, Kale, Beet greens & Watercress. So I put 2 parts of Arugula to 1 part of beet green, kale & watercress and put it in my kitchen aid.

How long will that keep in my fridge?

So on this diet my little bugger will not have any fruit tho? I thought I read that many people feed fruit?

My grocery store does not sell dandelion greens – can you pick those from the yard? The turnips did not have the green on top. So it might become difficult to find many of these items going forward – I still have other stores to check. In the summer I can plant some of these items in my garden.

lol

I feed mine fruit- not much- generally they get 3-4 slices of banana, or 1-2 small/med strawberries, something like that-- not much, just a sweet suprize at the bottom of the bowl- basically they have to eat the leafy greens before they find the sweets...

i pick my dandilion greens out of the yard- and i do NOT use pesticides or anything like that- and i wash them well.

as for keeping them in your fridge- i get a large tupperware container with a papertowel on the bottom, then a layer of chopped up greens, then a towel, greens, etc...

lasts longer.

I also mist the veggie bowl before i give it to them...
