As odd as it may seem to alot of people out there I really miss seeing snow fall... Joe you should have had snow a couple/few times this year! Thanks for the seasonal post -- lol -- I could go outside and snag a shot of a palm tree in the backyard with white fluffy bedding around the base -- not quite the same though!

Have a good one,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I remember my mom cranking the A/C up on xmas morning to try to make it seem a little more like the right time of year. Then we would go out in our shorts to play with our new toys. I do miss the good seafood and the water, so I will get taste of each in August.

Thanks!

Hey Joe,

We got a little snow in Charlotte as well. By the time we woke up it was raining and melting so we didn't have a chance to make a snow herper. One good thing about these temps is the basement has been nice and cool for the snakes!

Hi Dave,

There is more snow on thw way so you may get your chance to play in it yet. You are correct about the cooling temps and it makes things a bit easier than when I was in FL. Good luck with your stuff in the spring.

Thanks!

Joe
Tell me more about the picture of the ghost in the Nov. photo contest. It's super nice and looks like an extreme ghost. My snake is very similar to the one in the photo. The pic has the 2 snakes, one the ghost and the other is a nice tangerine-ish hypo I think. Take care and watch out for the "yellow snow". mike

Hi Mike,

I have not seen yours since it hatched. This guy was the result of a late pairing, which consisted of an Extreme Het Anery female and a Ghost male. I feel that he is also an Extreme Ghost. I was still in Florida when yours hatched, so it must be about full grown by now. Post a pic if you get a chance.

See you in Daytona,

Thanks!

Joe,......and BOTH yours and Mike's are STUNNING!..........even under those low light conditions, they still show VERY reduced pigmentation. When Mike emailed me a pic of his a long time ago, I just glared at the photo in awe!

best regards, ~Doug

Hey Joe thanks for the updated shot of your lil' extreme ghost! Just to reinforce what you said... lol... I actually had my A/C running on Xmas day this year. Not for any stylized effect or to be more festive -- just 'cause it was too warm!
