Does anyone else have trouble with......

Rob Lewis Jan 17, 2008 02:50 PM

Tim Spuckler's pictures? I love reading Tim's posts because I usually learn something and the pics are always awesome. Lately, however, the first time I visit one of his posts I can't view the picture (I get the red x). But, if I leave and go back a second time the picture is there. Is it me? I don't have this trouble with anyone else's pics. Just wondering. Thought it was odd. Thanks.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it! I remembered reading an article about them in Vivarium years ago and I was intrigued but that was about the same time my sand boa fascination started and the sand boas won.

I recently moved back north after several years in the south and, as it turns out, my new basement seems perfect for colubrids (55F - 65F so far this winter, we will see about summer) and that has gotten me thinking about snakes I haven't thought about in a long time (been lurking around the milksnake forum lately, too). Your pics of the bairdii just got my mind working. Thanks again for the info.

Rob

P.S. - Another great bairdii picture......makes my mind go even more.

I've noticed that too...and I'm the one posting the darn things!

If you hit "refresh" the pic shows up. I trying to determine if it's a server-related problem, because sometimes when I log into my FTP the server resets.

If any computer-oriented folks have advice on this, I'd appreciate it.

...maybe there is nothing to be done but you know what they say...misery loves company...LOL!

I just wanted to see if it was something on my end.

Thanks.

I do not want to mention the name. But the people you use and bought your domain may be the issue. Obviously server related as almost everyone has the trouble. The
network! people you use for your
solution!s have a history I will not put in print.

But just source a picture else where and see if it works.

I'm playing with some php gallery stuff, anyone is welcome to use it. There is a test account

user test
password test

As I said anyone can use it, but IMAGE will be delted at some time, as I'm still playing with it, and installing and unistalling it to write new code for it.

I use host gator. I also have go daddy.

Come talk to me, and I will lead thee grasshopper
