Nice Job on the rocks! Now all you need is to figure out how to grow a Creosote bush and some dandelions in there

What is the rock wall made of?

Thanks! I would really like to put some plants in there. I do not think that the plants would last too long though haha. They are like frickin vacuum cleaners when it comes to anything green or yellow!

The rock wall is made from a combination of 2" and 1" insulation foam that is glued together then carved.

I put a couple thin layers of grout on.

Then I put a couple thicker layers on top of that, which I mixed ith quikcrete concrete acrylic fortifier instead of water.

The last layer i used clay sculpting tools and wire brushes to give it a nice rocky look(???) lol.

Then I painted the sky, shaded the rocks with black paint, and sealed it all.

I also switched the substrate over to sifted decomposed granite. They seem to like it a bit better and it doesn't create all that dust that other sands can create.
