Great lookin' little tikes, Mark!
is the occipitolineata from the DeSoto area, or from another?

It's actually a Desoto and Okeechobee mix.

Mark,.......thanks for the info!,........looks EXACTLY like my pair when they were hatchlings,.....mine also had all dark blotches when young , then lightened up just a tad to a chocolate brown with dark borders on the first several blotches. The rest of the blotching remained very dark into adulthood.
I knew of a couple guys that had some that had ALL chocolate brown blotching with typical darker borders.
I think theirs were also DeSoto animals.
best regards, ~Doug

Wow Mark that 'pale' animal is really nice... actually both are! Did it 'fade out' to that color scheme or was it always as such? Either way thanks again for sharing...
Chris
The male (pale one) has faded somewhat since I got him but was never as dark as the female anyway. It seems some "fade out" lighter and some darker..many losing most any hint of pattern.
