erocks Jan 17, 2008 11:52 PM

So, im looking for some recomendations on ball python breeders. I live in the midwest and would like to hear some customer feedback on different business. I would like to give my business to small operations, and am having trouble finding them.
Thank You, Eric

i know he's not a small breeder but BHB is awsome.... i'm biased cause he's a friend... but his animals are awsome and he's a great dude to deal with..... and Twin city reptiles in minneapolis is great too... both have great animals and will help you with all your needs.

robyn@ProExotics Jan 18, 2008 02:47 PM

why not just the BEST experience possible, and highest quality animal?

befuddling to see folks go on about the "small breeder", as if the "big breeder" isn't BUSTING BUTT to do the best possible job and have the best possible animals.

this isn't a tech industry, or big business. in the grand scheme, even the biggest breeders in the industry are small businesses.

the internet gives you access to every decent breeder in the country, there is no reason not to go with the best possible source you can.

there are TONS of bad deals to be had with "small breeders". there are also PLENTY of "big breeders" that will blow you away with quality and service.

Crested Gecko (Garrick Demeyer) is a great guy. Also Bruce Delles of Twin City Reptiles is also a great guy to deal with.

All depends on what morphs are you looking for and where you live if you are looking for someone nearby.

Depending on where you live, there are many small breeders/hobbyists that you can contact. Also, there are several good reptile shows in the midwest you can check out. Kansas City, Mo. Herp Society has a good show, one in spring and one in fall - so does Omaha Neb. Herp Society. Des Moines, Ia has a fall show, etc.....let us know where you hail from so we can help you out!
