New acquisitions...

charmer Jan 18, 2008 01:25 AM

Well, my friend (who breeds reptiles and owns a shop)lets me purchase things on something of a 'credit', which I pay off and add to regularly... Every now and then he has something in that catches my eye and even when I think I'm about to pay off my debt, I end up digging the hole a little deeper! LOL!
A couple months ago I was going through his leftovers from a show and came across a little het anery that he had set aside. I haven't probed it yet, but regardless... I fell for the floating saddles. The medallions are still there, but the side pattern has nearly vanished completely! Not to mention, the layers of pink on the little guy. Does anyone else think the short tail pattern is a bit like that of a Bolivian? Got a good deal anyway... Opinions?

And then just a couple weeks ago... I had to show my honey this hypo I'd been eye-ing. I was very proud that I'd resisted buying the very beautiful snake, but upon hearing that it was also het anery and with a gift certificate in hand to partially cover the cost, I had to have it! LOL! Seriously, is there a Snake-aholics anonymous group for people like me? Still have to probe this one, but either way I have a morph to pair it with.. I wanted a close-up picture of her face, it's on fire with red and pink, but my camera pooped out on me

I shop for snakes like other girls shop a sale at the mall! I have trouble saying NO when someone gives me a good deal... and having credit at a reptile shop, is like a credit card with no interest. Kill me now!
Thanks for looking!

Nice looking boa, im kinda the same way, after everything i buy i tell myself not 1 more for a few year and then 6 months later something catches my eye again and i cant resist, but unlike you i dont have a credit, and the amount of work it takes to take care of so many herps has held me back from getting any more for now, lol
