Any out there reading this book. Takes place in our favorite part of the country. I believe the movie is coming out soon as well. Good story as well! (Tom)

Hey Tom,
Beat you to it buddy...I started a thread a while back on the movie. Haven't read the book yet but saw the movie twice. It was an awesome picture! Another good West Texas movie I recommend is The 3 Burials of Melquiadas Estrada.

You probably have some of the best footage from Alterna land. When are you going to put up a site and stream some of that stuff? In off season, we really jones for cuts and in situ stuff.

Best Wishes,

SXO

I am not the only one surfing the Alterna forums on a Friday Night. Excited as Lance and I are off to pick up 4 new 277 animals. 2wc 2f1s.

I wish kingsnake had a chat medium of some sort. Like an Alterna chat then we could all BS...

Best Wishes,

My collection is quite a burden so the only time for editing is in the winter. The next project is a short on how the new law has hurt the state of Texas, tourism, small business and sportsman.

I was in Las Vegas, NM when they were filming part of the movie. Nanner, nanner. (Ooooh, Was that mature?)

stevenxowens792 Jan 20, 2008 12:47 PM

Do you go to Las Vegas NM often? Most people don't even know that another Las Vegas exists. My family comes from that town literally. Not much there these days. The spic and span bakery is not to be missed no matter what. The cookies and meat pies are to die for.

Best Wishes,

Steven Owens

Beautiful all around that town. I especially love the terrain to the South toward Santa Rosa. Nice Celanops from the flats up there as well.
