i disappeared and now i am back

jeune18 Jan 18, 2008 10:17 AM

the computer at my house is broken and school was out so i was computerless for the most part.

there was some lizard drama but i missed out on it while in cancun. what i think happened is that jolly laid eggs and became territorial. midge must have gotten too close to the eggs and they fought and jolly ate off half of midge's tail. i was surprised as there was no blood in the cage (they are still on paper towels. i have been hesitant to put them back on sand) i cleaned the cage once i was back and was hoping that jolly would calm down but she would stalk midge in the cage. midge and walter roswell puffed up everytime she got near so i had to put her in her own cage. she is a BIG girl so she could definitely hurt them.

but midge seems to not miss her tail. and walter roswell is growing like a weed. he is a big boy. he is about five months now and he is almost as big as midge. definitely longer than her now that the tail is missing hee hee. val i will try to get pics up asap. he is very green and he is much larger than griffin ever was and griffin was 7 months old when he died

Tickled pink your back, hehehhehee

Glad the lizard family is doing okay , and the baby girls left over tail is on the mend Sometimes things happen as we talked about, that we would have not ever thought would. Guess lizards have bad days too, lol.

Nice to see you back! BTW how was the wild and crazy Cancun?
