-Ohh, what a Lady-
isn't a black-eyed lucy a black-eye lucy weather we call it an Ivory or not?
Jeff
Black eyed Lucies and Ivories are different animals.
As for the Leucistic part, I suppose if you call a Super Fire a Leucistic even with the pattern, then yes, Ivories are Leucistic.
My contention is the Leucistics should be pure white, but I may be alone in that.

-Ohh, what a Lady-
Leucism by definition is not the entire body being without pigment. It is defined as patches as well...
So technically, a Pied is a (partial) Lucie too!

And here I was gettin' all warmed up.LOL Really I was just curious why you felt that any of the "White" snakes would not be considered Lucys. What I find interesting is that even though the Mojo, Lesser or Butter crosses are not "Supers", they still produce no normal offspring. In my opinion that makes them even more powerful as a breeder then a "Super" what ever. At least as far as the variety of different offspring that can be produce in a single breeding.
Jeff
LOL!
Sorry to dissapoint.
To me, Lucies have always been the pinnacle of being the "ALL WHITE SNAKE" that everyone seems to be getting fed up with seeing.
Going with that train of thought, that is really why I chose to identify the Supers of most forms not the be all white, so therefore less dissapointing to see, and also not all white, therefore not the "Lucie". (Wierd, huh?)
I think they all kick ass, not matter what color, so it really doesn't matter to me how much white or not.
I corrected myself by actually looking at the true definition, although looking like a complete jackass doing it.

Ivories have the yellow stripe, Mojave Lucies are somewhat grey on the head with blue eyes, Lesser Lucies are bright white with blue eyes.

On an ivory ball, the yellow stripe fades as they get older. They generally turn into a white ball with some black/grey on the head.
