Scale (or lack there of) after shedding

My girl just shed tonight and now her head looks like this. Did a scale come off during the shed? What could have caused this, lack of humidity? The shed came off nicely in one piece.

Looks like a wound from the photos.

Keep it clean and it will pass with the next couple of sheds.

May be a scar later though.

Double check the cage for sharp edges. Looks like while she was shedding, she scratched off a scale. I had a girl that was doing this every shed until I found the edge that she was rubbing on and dulled it down with a file.
