Will a nice red pair produce all nice red baby's? Can one assume that if parents are lookers all offspring will be? I would like to get some and was just wondering about this.

but a couple/few will be killer at least. last year i bred a semi-red female [tail only] to an anery male and one of the offspring is red [w/brown saddles] all over, WAY better than the parents, way better than what you would think would result from such a pairing. the other ones weren't bad either but run a distant second to this one in particular.....you never know what you're gonna get exactly, one or two may surprise you. good luck in your quest!!
The better the pair the better the babies. Red bulls are not the result of a simple Mendilian trait. They have been selectively bred for the amount of red we now have come to expect but not all neonates meet this expectation. Interestingly some have shown interest in the not so red animals that develope into nice and I might add brighter orange colored animals.
In our collection when breeding red bulls we have noticed quite a bit of variance in color of offspring from different lines. The Ginter line seems to produce the best color on a consistant basis but even in his line there are always a few that are brighter red than thier siblings. Genetics is a funny thing when it comes to trying to isolate something as variable as a color morph. The best advice I can give you is to buy the very best lines you can find and you will increase the probability of outstanding offspring.
Good Luck
