Here goes nothing...

Last two times I posted my woes here they got fixed within a few days..
-- Oh, forum gods please let my Madi Hissing Roaches breed and have many babies.... ---
If that doesn't work, heres the situation. I have my madis indoors because they are soo good looking.. but they haven't had babies in a few months. They stay about 75 - 80 deg get great food and water crytals. They don't seem to respond to Berry White and candels. I even tried Lynard Skinard and put the whole tank in the back of a '69 Chevelle and nothing (that seemed to work well in my home town..).I am begining to think that there is something in the water here - my wife didn't get pregnant until she started drinking Smart Water....any sugestions??

Mine are very 'seasonal' breeders. Winter is down time. I start to see them pick it up next month. Maybe the same for you?

Id say warm it up to 90 or so. in the 70s I believe is a bit cool for them to breed.

I have a UTH on my dubia tank at about 95 degrees on the glass and they breed like crazy.

I will put a UTH under them today. I have UThs unders under all the other roaches in the garage. Iam going to have to add a 25watt red light to them tonight anyway - we have a cold snap on the way in. I am going to heat the madis up a bit, if that doesn't work, I am going to assume that they are in a winter shut down..
Thanks,

Barry White didn't work? Say it ain't so. Actually my son's didn't breed until he gave them to me and I got the temps up around 90F.
When I was in high school, most pregnancies involved stupid water (beer), not smart water. I don't think it would hurt, but you better check with someone more roach oriented than me....

I thought the Chevelle would have worked for sure. Go figure, I got a ride from a friend and had a few roaches with me. My buddy has a 67' VW bus. The roaches went crazy! Go figure they are all dang long anteni hippies!
