Nice! What's the history? WC or CB?
W/C Not far from Las Vegas june 06. Obtained by me July 4 06. About 7 inches then. About 20 inches now. Very mellow little snake. Would love to get a mate and hopefully get some CB's going.
Any problems getting it to eat? I had one and it would only eat wild mice. They are great snakes and would like to work with them again.
I have an adult male sonoran sidewinder. They are very cool snakes to work with. I'm also looking for a female. Although I hear babies are a pain to get feeding.
Raised many of these little gems, you want to start them on small utas and then scent pinkies, they should take a scented pinky within a few feedings and switch to straight pinks within a few meals after that. Not too hard to get em going, just have to be patient. Easy as pie to breed, just get a mate for them and they will do the rest.

Has not fed in about two months, but it is winter. Normally eats about once a month, prefers rat pups. Even as a baby feeding was no problem. Took pinky mice to start with. Gave it a rat pup once and stuck with them since. Very mellow snake.
Mine has been taking mice w/ no problem every other week. Mine hasnt stopped eating at all since winter started. Mine isn't mellow though. He is very skitterish but hooks well on the 3ed try. Awsome snakes though. Havent had the chance to get any babies yet.
