SoCalSerenity May 22, 2003 07:22 PM

Okay the one month old baby beardie was sold to us for only 10 dollars becuase he was said to be just "brown" and "regular" however we did not care becuase we dont need a bright color to love our beardie ONLY thing now is he is shedding and his head is a bright green/yellow color.. is he ill or is he gonna have some colors?

After they shed is when they are at there brightest state(besides when fired up). He might have some yellow bloodline in him, who knows but if he is sheding - he's growing!

I hope he turns out to have a lot of color. I mean, what a story that would be if you bought a beardie for $10 and he turns out to have great colors.

I think brown is a very nice color!
I bought mine as a 'normal' as well (paid $65 Cdn for him) but his parents both were yellow/orange in color (sandfire?) and he does show a fair bit of yellow along his back and face when 'fired up', also has purple stripes along his sides. He certainly turned out to be a very nice beardie. Now if only I can improve his attitude
