My gecko has developed a love for mealworm pupa. Is there any reason that they would be bad for her? She prefers to be fed with tongs and the pupa wiggle a lot more when you hold them.

Don't quote me on this, but I am sure I've read somewhere that Mealworm pupa are like waxworms, they get really addicted to them and they are really fatty.

I've never read anything anywhere where it said the mealworm pupae is bad for them. I feed mine crickets and the giant mealworms and they eat both readily. I offer mine on a tong, too. It's easier that way.

I don't think there's any problem with it. They are kinda hard, so I would watch her stools and just make sure everything is working thru OK.
