whats the best to start with?

I'm looking to get a chameleon. I have always Bean fascinated by chameleons and Im no newbe to reptiles. I want to have some and maybe try to breed them. I want to start with babies. What is the best way to keep them I want to build a cage. But don't now the best materials to use? Can some one help?

i'd suggest you get a panther,they tend to be the best starter and in my opinion are the most social..some people will say another good starter is a veiled but they can be very aggressive i've heard..you can't speak for every cham,but you can generalize..my panther is really social with me..you'll need a screen cage for them..i'd suggest either using plastic or wood if your going to build..i have plastic..chams are the probably one of the hardest reptiles to keep/care for but once you have a good routine that works well,it gets alot easier..hope this helps,if you have anymore questions i'd be glad to answer..check out the pics of my cham and let me know what you think..i've had him for 1.5 years and hes a year and 8 months old..
