give him time and he will eat. He needs to settle in and get use to his surroundings. I know when I got my red iguana Rusty a few weeks back he did not eat at all. Now he eats daily. Do you have any pics of your red ig? I would love to see some other red iguanas. Here is a pic of mine

Awsome looking IG! They should really call them orange iguanas instead of red since they are more of a orangish collor then a red color. Anyways how old/big is your guy? Mine is about 18 inches.

he is about a year old i would say and is about 16 or 17 inches long. But i think when they get older they look more redish but i think they are even cooler looking then albino iguanas.

hi anthony93 i want to tell you need to very your igs diet they dont like the same every day you need to stop giving so much kale it is high in oxalates and goitrogens that means it binds calcium not letting the ig get any. and will end up with a sick ig who will get mbd so get the right greens. collard, dandelion, endive, mustard, turnip mix all of the greens i have listed together to make the right salad. for add in vegs butternut squash, green beans, parsnip.ect ect that will not only make you ig healthy but they will love it. rember to do different things like the veg alternate days with all the mixed greens you can keep the greens in a covered bowl in the frig and use what you need to mix a great salad for him/her hopes this helps iggirl1
