I'm getting ready to do a talk on Sacred Serpents in the West (Mediterranian and maybe Americas) and am looking for any myths that involve Bull snakes as I have one as a visual tool. Any thoughts on where to find such stories?
Ron

Check out the 'brattler' threads here and in the venomous forum.
Are you going to talk about Aesculepian ratsnakes? Or maybe even javelin sand boas?
Actually it was the Longissima (Aesclepian) that got me thinking about the topic, then looking at the various stories from the Mid-East and Mediterranian regions got me more committed to the idea of the talk on Sacred Serpents. Now I just want to try to find a tidbit about Sacred Bullsnakes in North America as a nice end to the talk. BTW does anyone know of a Longissima breeder who has an infant or yearling for sale?
Thanks
Ron
