Thanks Steph, I tried to put together a very diverse collection of above average and top notch animals. Now all that work is about to start paying off!!! No need to be green with envy, just get some for yourself??

I'll be happy with whatever I get as this will be my first BCI year. Long time BRB breeder.

Good Luck!

You cast a broad net, didn't you?

My silverback just had her POS today. I'm right about to mark my
calender & start counting days too...

rainbowsrus Jan 22, 2008 09:31 PM

That's not the half of it, All those buns don't include any of my BRB plans for the year (18 females in the breeding plans)

I figure I want to produce a variety of different morphs and hets. At a lot of various price points. Mostly aimed at 100% hets but a few will be possibles. A lot of what I have going this year is doirectly aimed at some future plans, making babies with the necessary genes now to eventually breed and make some really cool babies. For example, not just a motlel sunglow but one with coral albino, 2005 summit salmon and pastel motley.

Thanks and good luck with your silverback.

I admire your courage to post pics of gravid and breeding females. It looks like you have many good litters to come. I think the Motley arabesque hets for albino should be amazing.
Good luck with everything.

rainbowsrus Jan 22, 2008 09:38 PM

I figure when all is said and done, they will produce what they produce. Me taking and posting pics will have no affect on it. The ones that take and produce nice babies will do so. The ones that do not take or slug out (or worse knock on wood) will do so as well. Bottom line is some will definitely take. I'm looking at three right now I'd wager are gravid. Several others look like they are on track and one or two I really don't know about.

I really love breeding snakes and want to generate as much interest as possible. I figure people knowing what I have in the oven may influence their plans on what to buy and when. If I'm looking to prodyuce something they want, cool!! And they can have an idea when they are due. All this info will be put on my website as well as the details are known.

Oh, and thanks for the Motleys, thet trio was a great investment and the "extras" you sent really did help me out. I've decided to keep one of them since she is sooo red!!

wow, you have a big operation...and alot of patience for taking care of all those babies. I am hoping maybe 2 litters hit for me, and just those babies will keep me way busy...lol.

Yeah, I have bitten off a lot, at least they won't all be here at the same time, the BRB's have not even started breeding yet.

I've found a good rack and simplicity are key, prefolded paper towels, prefilled water bowls ready for replacing dirty ones and just get-er-done!! I can go through my 90 tub rack in less than a half hour even with a fair amount of dirty tubs.
