The only noticeable difference I have seen between the stone and roylance motleys is that the Stone line generally has that traditional motley looks with the CBLT pattern where the roylance are the onces that have more of a broken pattern especially in the tail where their are almost tail saddles or tail striping. I believe these lines were bred together. Maybe thats why sometimes motleys with less pattern show themselves. Hope this helps, Trey
I was under the impression one was of columbian decent the other was central. the columbian/stone line was the crisper pattern and the central was slightly aberrant. maybe I was misinformed.

Stone was wild caught. Roylance was a spontaneous motley liter from a Normal X Normal.
