Hey Tim, here's the GTP I was referring to. She's from Greg Maxwell's 2005 Carpetman x Blue Diamond pairing. She's got a real classic Sorong look to her. I think she's a she and eventually, I'd like to find a similar male to pair her up with.

You know, sometimes I think I come off as a chondro-snob, all wrapped up in my family trees and prized lineages. But you know, a beautiful animal is a beautiful animal regardless of where it comes from. You've done a great job with her and she really glows. Lovely snake!

On a side note, I just ran by the idea of getting ball pythons with my wife. She got mad. It's going to take some coaxing

.. save some time and go straight to the blatant bribe.
Maybe jewelry or a vacation.

Did you guys see the latest "Reptiles" magazine? Holy cow,
some unreal GTP's are pictured in the feature story.

Thanks,
Ed

I haven't seen the new issue either. Can't wait to get it though. I'm not too worried about the wife. There's so many snakes in that room, she really has no idea what's coming or going. Someday....(rubs hands together and wears a sinister grin).

Unfortunately, I only have one snake, so bribe's are high up on
my list.

I just looked at your chondro pics below, they are beautiful.
Good luck with the Mint Chip-Chondrodynamite(sp?) pairing, can't imagine the baby ChondroMints would be anything less than spectacular.

Thanks,
Ed

lol sinister very very sinister lol they are fun lil projects and so much can be done specialy if you dont have alot of room for huge snakes or alot of babies its great for small hobbiest like myself

natsamjosh Jan 23, 2008 09:42 PM

I just started subscribing. My son was doing a school fundraiser and I finally saw a magazine on the list that I would actually read. Don't want to ruin it for you, so all I'll say is the ontogenic blue melanistic one is unreal.

Thanks,
Ed
