What a load of . . .

At least i think that is what it is. I just got home from work and found that my '01 P.d.deppei, that hadn't eaten since march, just crapped out last weeks (5/13) meal. The meal was a lg f/t pink, but the fecal matter looks unusual. There are no discernable parts, but it is awful wet and runny with just a hint of the chalky stuff (omg I have become a turd conniseur)I'm assuming this is a turd and not a regurge. She couldn't regurge after 9 days could she? Sorry about the lame newbie type post but this strange? I am nervous because it had been difficult to get her to eat. BTW the temps have been within normal limits (81 max today) and there have been no changes in husbandry that would stress her out

Thanks to all,
Dave

I've never seen the "chalky stuff" in a regurge. Sounds like you've got some "poo stuff" there.

From what I have read, it is not uncommon to get a runny stool from a pinkie feeding. Neonates often get this. Since he took a pinkie, try giving him something larger, like maybe a fuzzy. Anything w/ a little fur on it. This should give you a better stool. Unless something else may be going on? Hope not but... A more solid stool sample should ease your mind.

sounds pretty normal except the 9 days part. The white is normal and shouldnt be to big a pile for only a pinkie poop...
