One of the eggs i had been postin on had completely deflated and i saw no movement so i cut it open to try and help the baby out. What puzzled me was the condition of the baby. It was very premature but had been in the incubator for 51 days at an avg of 87 degrees. Im confused why the egg would collapse and start to sweat if the baby wasn't fully develped yet. Any ideas would be help fule to save my remaining 4 eggs one of which is at 50 days and is sweating but is mostlikely in same condition as the first. Plz post. Thanks.

Jason, I think all anyone can do at this point is tell you to leave the eggs alone and wait to see if they hatch.

Make sure you don't play with them too much and try to be patient.

sometime an embryo pauses its develope ment because of an enviromental change, prehaps a power outage. it then resumes once conditions are normal. though i am not sure this happens in leopard geckos. also prehaps they are a doomed clutch. it may be a genetic flaw that caused them to stop develope ment yet released the hormones that are released before hatching(once agian i am not sure if that applies to this species) also what tempeture do u have them at?
