How do you get a good picture of an albino? What color backgroud works and what kind of lighting?

this is the best I've gotten so far. It's still a little blurry and I obviously still need to practice!

Picture was taken with a Fuji FinePix, the background was a black pillowcase and lighting was natural light from an open window, around 7pm, near sunset, no flash. Flash always washes them out too much. I find the pictures come out better with a matte background as opposed to a reflective one. The picture below is the most accurate one I've gotten of his color.

The best advise I can offer is... practice makes perfect!
Good luck!

I've found that the compact fluorescent light bulbs (spiral type) can bring out a lot of the color in most snakes esp with fuji cameras (I have a FinePix Z1)

I put mine in a rubbermaid with white cloth bg or papertowels and leave it in there till it settles down and take some pics, i use a florecent light next to my camera and with the flash and it helps it not drown out the color so much for me.
