Hi,
gee, haven't seen this species mentioned for awhile. You will get mixed reports. Several of us on this forum, myself included, have had some mysterious losses and others have been successful. Most seem to have been females that died soon after laying, whereas I lost 2 females (were not gravid) and one male inside of a 2-week span and don't know why. They were about 7 months old.
Search back on this forum around early/mid-july and you will see numerous threads. I got mine from the Kammers www.calumma.com/ and even with my loss would recommend them if you chose to get them.
John at Chameleon Paradise groups.msn.com/ChameleonParadise has a different species and has had no problems. He frequents this forum.
Morgana at Reptayls groups.msn.com/REPTAYLSChameleons also breeds them
some other links for info:

here is an article on the similar Brookesia. Have similar requirements and is a very good article. (check out their whole site - LOTS of info, AdCham's as well)

I loved my little leafs and at some point will probably get them again, but I am still too sad and am focusing on my other critters. If you go to cham gallery I have some photos of them and my setup (I think I took all the sick/dying ones off). Look under lele
My one question to you is have you had other chameleons before? If not, I would not recommend these as your first. - just my opinion.
hope this helps!
