Hi, I have a 2 year old female corn and it only eats hamsters. I went to the pet store today to get her a hamster and the only one they had for a feeder was huge! It was at least 2.5 times the size of the snake. Well I had never feed a corn a meal that big so I was not sure if it could do it. I thrught the hamster in the cage and the snake went after it. After trying to constrict it for about a minute, the snake gave up and let it go. It then tried again but let it go right a way. I killed the hamster and put it back in the cage. Do you think that if the animal can not kill the prey it's self then it is too big to feed? Thanks for an answer, Jake.
