I think they made an honest mistake in the article. If you watch the video they just say that it is one of the largest in captivity.

Yeah, Fluffy is over 24 feet....too bad 'ol Bob sold her. I don't blame him for selling her though...$$$!

Fluffy is here at the Columbus Zoo on loan (I am pretty sure on loan from Bob Clark) and she is least 24 ft.

I live in Columbus, and the zoo just bought Fluffy for permanent exhibit for either 30K or 35K. Initially, she was on loan from Bob Clark, but now she's staying put here.

I know Bob has at least 1 other 20 footer because the owner of our store gave/sold it to him. I'm sure he has others as well.

was not the original fluffy that bob has displayed and owned forever, well at least not according to the photo's in the news story. The original fluffy was a normal type retic. The snake in all the photo's is a tiger retic. The rumor mill has it that whenever bob has a retic grow larger than the current "fluffy" he renames the new largest one fluffy and drops the old fluffy to it's original name. Whether this is true or not, I don't know first hand but those pics that are posted everywhere are of a tiger retic and on bob's web site, fluffy is a normal type retic.

Yea I live here in Columbus also Bob did sell Fluffy to the Columbus Zoo for 35K the biggest reason is that whatever shipping company that broght the snake here went out of business and instead of Bob trying to find another to ship an animal that size he just sold her outright.

"biggest reason is that whatever shipping company that broght the snake here went out of business and instead of Bob trying to find another to ship an animal that size he just sold her outright."

I'm sorry but, this statment is inaccurate. There was no issure with shipping the snake back. If there was we would have gladly driven to Columbus and picked her up. Fluffy III was a joy to work with and Bob did not really want sell her but, money talks.

what the heck do you do with a snake that big?!?!?!?!?! its not like you can take it out of its cage and hold it, not without a team of ten anyways. ill stick with balls, 3-6 feet is just fine.
i mean can you imagine how much that snake eats?
