container size for clutch ?

Dave763 Jan 25, 2008 11:16 AM

What size container should I use for the eggs? I have the incubator ready to go except for deciding what size tubs to use and filling them wth hatchrite.
I was thinking 6qt. shoebox size would be about right for one(2lb.) bag of hatchrite, and 3 to 6 eggs.
I have larger 15qt. tubs that look like they will hold 2 bags and 10 or more eggs.
Any of this sound about right?
What size tubs do you all use?

Thanks for any help.

I use the 6qt tubs and they work fine for up to 6 eggs.
Your incubator size will influence your choice!
