My future breeder annulata

blupanther Jan 25, 2008 04:03 PM

I have had the female(top photo) for a couple months, and I picked up the little male today. He had just slammed a pinky at the distributor(as you can see). I hope to breed them once they mature. Originally I was looking for adults, but they aren't exactly easy to find, so I'll have to wait. Any other annulata fans out there?

They didn't show up in the first post.

Juile Jan 25, 2008 08:12 PM

Do they stay that pretty as adults ?

antelope Jan 26, 2008 07:24 PM

Yep, for the most part.

Beautiful little annulata blupanther. I only have two types of milks in my collection, and you can take a good guess mexican milks are one of them, LOL. Here's a somewhat recent pic of my female.

Annulata do keep their nice colors as adults. One of the many nice trates of Annulata. Congratulations on your pair.

I'm really into the Mexican Milks. All of my adults have stayed just as bright as they were when they were babies. Here is a picture of my pin-striped female.

Thanks,
She came from my friend Gordy Lockwood. I Have a super orange male pinner from Hot Snakes 2 Go that I will be pairing her up with in 09.

Great stuff. Post some pics of the male if you get a chance. He sounds pretty sweet as well.

Dan that is a great looking annulata, when are you going to breed her? Is she a locality tied animal too?

Are you staying warm in the great burly north country?

-Dell

Dan, recognize this big ass, opps I meant ash.

daneby Jan 26, 2008 05:45 PM

Hey Dell,
I'll be pairing her up with a smokin orange pin-striped male in 09. No locality info on either of them.

How are those Idaho rubbers doing? Did you get babies from them yet?

Sunherp Jan 27, 2008 12:19 PM

Good you see you posting here. That snake is smokin', buddy. Give me a call when you get the chance.

Wow, nice to see there are so many annulata enthusiasts on the board. Thanks for all the photos. That pinner is NICE. Any photos of the male? Also, does anyone know what happened to spotteds? I saw an ad in the classifieds for a "het" for spotted mexican. Is this legit? Has the spotted trait been proven simple recessive?
